Scenes From a Shower
The bed was cold and lonely He got up to start his day Even though he was two hours early He stretched Reaching high into the air His long, lean body giving Him a cat like appearance He ran his long tan fingers Over his bare and hairless Chest He sighed heavily He walked into the kitchen to Start the coffee After getting a howl from the Cat He sauntered into the bathroom He reached into the shower And turned on the water First the hot, then the cold Letting them blend to the Most comfortable mixture Stepping in he let the water Cascade off his body He reached for the soap And a washcloth He began to wash his body First his left arm, them his right He moved to the chest using small Circles As he moved down his body he Sighed again He reached for the brush and Scrubbed his back using Strong, broad strokes Until his back was red He then moved to his legs Giving each one the same Attention He leans back and wets his hair Lathers then rinses He can't understand why he's so tired He leans against the wall. Soon the sound of soft snoring Joins with the water running down the drain He jolts awake when the water turns cold Wrapping a towel around his slender hips He wipes off the mirror with his hand He smiles at his reflection He shaves, gently laughing at the faces he makes. He towels off his face and returns to the bedroom He looks towards the bed longing for his Bed-mate to come home. He leaves to begin his day at work. Back to the
